Job Description:

The Manager will support Design Operations within our Best Buy Client Care team. This Manager will actively participate in holistic Best Buy Client Care strategy focusing on Omnichannel direction as it integrates into our workforce. This leader will be expected to partner and influence relevant business partners both in the field and at corporate. This includes, but is not limited to IT, Customer Care, Field leadership, Third Party Logistics, Delivery Distribution Center leadership, and Retail.

Operational design consists of framing (or) the operational environment, framing (or defining) the problem, and developing the operational approach

Key Responsibilities

  1. Proactively make connections with teams across the company that influence the customer experience. Leverage these partnerships to drive alignment and make recommendations for future project work based on either company priorities or financial benefit analysis.

  2. Develop consistent experiences across all customer contact vehicles in support initiatives through research, reporting and providing subject matter expertise.

  3. Leverage tools, technology, and resources to develop new and innovative ways to drive brand-loyal customers

  4. Develop a deep understanding of financials and financial impacts, leveraging that knowledge to make decisions

  5. Build relationships and trust with cross-functional partners to ensure effective communication and lasting results

  6. Actively engage with cross functional teams to learn existing people, process, and technology issues and build deep understanding of the current operating model for different service delivery channels

  7. Articulate recommendations to leaders within client experience support, and build business cases to support senior leadership alignment

Basic Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of leadership experience managing direct reports

  • 3 or more years Understanding and experience managing a fiscal budget

  • 3 or more years of experience at a manager level within a large, global consumer-oriented business

  • 3 or more years of experience creating strategic priorities

  • 2 or more years of experience designing, supporting and improving the customer experience

  • Proven ability to drive improved business results in an operational environment

  • Expertise designing, supporting, and improving customer experience

  • Proven ability to drive employee engagement and retention

  • Experience developing strategy and driving continuous improvement

  • Understanding and experience managing a fiscal budget

Preferred Requirements:

  • Contact Center experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in liberal arts, business or related field
