Global Service Delivery is a high-profile capability area for CVS Health, accountable for designing, building, and delivering global talent solutions to promote the enterprise efficiency and effectiveness goals of C-level leadership. As such, leaders in this area work with elevated visibility and accountability to senior leadership across departments and functional areas and must achieve outcomes in this context, i.e. with heightened scrutiny on both quantifiable results and qualitative / leadership skills. You will execute within complex organizations and must have high learning agility. You will provide daily leadership of the operational, financial, and administrative activities of GSD; will manage strategic planning and executive and stakeholder communications including to the C-level and board of directors; you will drive the activities of a group of peer Senior Directors of GSD; will directly manage a team of resources supporting strategic planning and communications; and will prioritize the activities and manage the staff planning for 20+ shared resources responsible for overall GSD operational delivery. You will provide leadership vision for GSD and identify, prioritize, and solve essential program issues and ensure that our long-term deliverables and our operation outcomes meet business objective(s) and that all short-term deliverables are met. You must integrate quickly into our organization and assess issues that affect the team's operating efficiencies. In addition to operational efficiency, you will assess team member effectiveness, hiring of essential program personnel, and functioning as the senior proxy for the overall leader in team and program management and in program forums and with enterprise partners. This is a collaborative role reporting to the Senior Director, requiring management of relationships with leaders, executives, and senior executives across the business segments and teams. As such, leadership presence as well as a high degree of political and organizational intelligence are required. Ability to build organizational bridges are essential and confidence when collaborating and seeking agreement with senior executives. Financial experience is necessary to validate business cases and to lead the activities of the program's finance team.Potential of up to 25% travel.
