Shift Information 

This position will work a 10-hour shift Monday- Thursday or Tuesday- Friday.  Weekends will be required on a rotating basis.  

About the Job 

A Manufacturing Technician III will provide customer-oriented service and support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing Washers, Autoclaves, Centrifuge, Bioreactors. Tanks, pumps, and other production equipment at our BioSite location. This position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing systems including mechanical, electrical and control principles.  

What You’ll Do 

· Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems.

· Perform preventative and corrective work order maintenance.

· Assists in troubleshooting mechanical problems and work with outside vendors to resolve recurring issues.

· Follow Standard Operating Procedures in performance of assigned duties.

· Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logbooks.

· Work independently, with only general supervision and instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.

· Navigate in a CMMS system to find and close out work orders * Schedules workload with planner.

· Performs small projects as directed by the Supervisor.

Who You Are 

You are a problem solver and team player that is eager to learn new technical equipment and processes. This position will provide you the opportunity to collaborate with a broader engineering and maintenance group to support manufacturing and essentially to make a difference in patient lives.

· High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment OR

· Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment

· Experience with maintaining and repairing pharmaceutical and biotech related equipment

· This work requires occasionally climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, moving/lifting test equipment up to 50 lbs. as well as working in clean spaces where gowning is required.

· Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time is also required.

Preferred

· Knowledge and usage of hand and power tools to perform assignments preferred. 

· Knowledge of CMMS system

· Knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out to energized systems
