Alaant QC Support Specialist in Rensselaer, New York

Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a QC Support Specialist to join a dynamic Quality Control team at a leading biotech company in Rensselaer, NY. This full-time position is perfect for individuals looking to start or grow their career in a manufacturing environment, providing critical support to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Hours and Benefits for the QC Support Specialist:
Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
$24.00 an hour
Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision, PTO and 401k after 60 days of employment
Responsibilities for the QC Support Specialist:
Perform sample pulls, submissions, and coordinate transfers with other departments.
Lab Maintenance: Manage reagents, equipment, and supplies through ordering, logging, inventory, and stocking.
Environmental Monitoring: Conduct temperature, environmental, and CO2 monitoring activities.
Documentation and Compliance: Complete laboratory documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Training and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance activities and complete required training.
Requirements for the QC Support Specialist:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science field
Proficiency in MS Office
