SHI International Corp. Sr. Corp Solutions Consultant - Microsoft - M365 in Remote, United States

The Sr. Corp Solutions Consultant - Microsoft - M365 will provide customer-facing services to our customers to help them define and oversee Microsoft 365 initiatives. The Sr. Corp Solutions Consultant is responsible for helping strategize, architect, implement and consult on various solutions that support SHI customer’s move to Microsoft 365. The Sr. Corp Solutions Consultant will design and implement enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing, analyzing system requirements and ensuring that systems are securely integrated with current applications. The Sr. Corp Solutions Consultant will guide customers through the architecture, design and implementation activities while strategically aligning their technical roadmap for expanding the usage of the SHI services. The Sr. Corp Solutions Consultant - Microsoft - M365 will also mentor and guide other consultants within the team.

This position will report to the Corp Services Manager in the Corp Service Sales department.

  • Perform PowerShell scripting for automation, documentation, and standardization

  • Ensure security is integrated into all Microsoft 365 architecture solutions

  • Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations

  • Perform peer reviews around architecture, design and best practices including overseeing the work of others on projects

  • Guide strategic customers as they design and implement Microsoft 365 projects ranging from greenfield deployments, tenant consolidations, and business transformations through on-site and remote engagements

  • Build reference architectures, frameworks, solutions and how-to’s for to advance standardization with the practice

  • Stay up to date and on top of top industry trends and offerings

  • Evangelize SHI Microsoft Services capabilities across SHI and Partner community through webinars, meetups, and conferences

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship in a pre-sales and post-sales capacity to support successful understanding, evaluation and adoption of Microsoft 365 technology

  • Demonstrate long term thinking as it relates to our Microsoft 365 practice and customer engagements

  • Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to other architects and consultants within the team

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility

  • Minimum 7 years of design and implementation experience in Microsoft technologies

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field

  • Deep understanding of deployment and migration methodology Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, Intune, and System Center Configuration Manager

  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure requirements for successful Microsoft 365 Deployments and Migrations

  • Familiar with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Tenant consolidation using 1st and 3rd party utilities

  • Experience migrating workloads to the Microsoft 365 from multiple source environments

  • Deep hands-on technical expertise of System Center Configuration Manager and Intune Co-Management

  • Knowledge of Azure AD Security Concepts and Azure AD SSO Integration with 1st and 3rd Party Applications

  • Deep level understanding of Microsoft Compliance best practices; including Azure Information Protection, Data Loss Protection, eDiscovery, and information barriers.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Commercial, GCC, GCC High, DoD tenant features and functionality

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation and support of Microsoft solutions and exhibit strong project management and communication skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to demonstrate technical capabilities of cloud technology

  • Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

  • Excellent writing skills to produce written reports of recommendations, metrics, project management, process and technical documentation

  • High level reading comprehension to examine manuals and technical reports to keep up with advances and implement new technology that meets employers’ or clients’ needs

  • Ability to develop discovery and automation scripts using PowerShell and Graph API

  • Excellent presentation and white boarding skills

  • Passionate about learning new technologies and making customers successful

  • Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably to all levels of the IT chain of command including directors, managers, architects and consultants
