In this role you will be in a pivotal role ensuring that the company's data ecosystem is robust, secure, and capable of supporting data-driven ambitions. Design, create, deploy, and manage an organization's data architecture. Define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing data.

What You Will Do

Main tasks and responsibilities for planning and execution of data architecture:

  • Data Strategy and Architecture Design: Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data. Establish rules and procedures for data sharing.

  • Data Management: Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating operations, applications, and programming.

  • Data Security and Quality: Assess system performance and make adjustments as needed. Ensure all data systems meet company and legal requirements.

  • Systems Integration: Coordinate with key stakeholders to guarantee system integrations align with data management foundation.

  • Technical Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data architecture.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, data scientists, and data analysts to ensure system consistency.

Core requirements while focusing on a blend of technical expertise, extensive experience, and a deep understanding of data management. Here are the key essentials:

  • Extensive Experience: Several years of experience in a data-related field, preferably in data architecture or data engineering.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases . Familiarity with data modeling tools. Knowledge of cloud computing and experience with platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) can be beneficial.

  • Experience with Snowflake

  • Data Management: Deep understanding of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.

  • Data Security: Knowledge of data security and privacy practices.

  • Systems Architecture: Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable, robust systems.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Being comprehensive requires familiarity in order to manage the following aspects (expertise will be expected in at least one area): Business acumen, Coding (custom logic), Infrastructure, Data, Integration, and Security.

  • Develop and review key architecture deliverables, preliminary and high-level architecture models for software and infrastructure solutions under development.

  • Manage adherence to architecture standards.

  • Assist in defining strategic direction.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

  • 5+ years of experience in related field.

  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Salary Range

$100,500.00 - $182,700.00
