HIRING NOW! 24/7 High-Speed Beverage manufacturing facility, READING PA, Muhlenberg Township $16.00 to $18.00 per hour/DOE and shift availability 1+ years' experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate GED 82 hours biweekly/Day, Night Shift/Full-Time/Overtime Day shift: 5:40 am-6 pm following 3-2-2-3 rotational schedule-must be able to work every other weekend. Night shift: 5:40 pm-6 am following a 3-2-2-3 rotational schedule- must be able to work every other weekend. Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time, also sanding, moving, bending, and walking during the shift, squatting, twisting, lifting, ability to lift 501bs without assistance, manual dexterity, good vision(with or without correction) ability to climb using steps or ladders as needed, subject to noise, heat, humidity, cold(facility not climate control), fast pace forklift traffic, wet floors, and daily housekeeping, fast pace production, and warehouse environment. Main Duties: Operating a sit-down propane forklift with double forks moving either or both raw materials and finished product throughout the warehouse. Must have a andquot;can-doandquot; attitude and the ability to communicate and work with other departments. Must be able to operate the forklift in a warehouse setting where space is often tight and constantly changes due to customer orders. Must be able to move items without damaging them. Other duties: load or unload trucks, may assist with machinery change over (mechanical aptitude), rework product, consolidate product, assigned housekeeping duties on shift. Must be able to multitask and pay attention to details. Must be willing to share knowledge and train others. Any other duties as assigned. Attendance as the schedule is an essential job function. Successful candidates for this position possess a solid work ethic to produce a safe product. A andquot;can doandquot; attitude to exceed customer expectations, a willingness to learn, a sense of urgency, and demonstrated the ability to safely operate a forklift. Prior 1 + years of experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry with a familiarity of GMP's, SQF, and/or HACCP is preferred but not required. Prior experience operating a sit-down propane forklift is preferred. High School Diploma, GED or trade school or prior experience is preferred. Experience with andquot;doublesandquot; sit down propane or yard jockey experience a plus. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. The ability to read, record, and complete documentation in English is required.
