About the team
As a Sr. Data Science Product Manager with the U.S. Bank Adoption and Enablement team you will partner with business lines, platform owners, and technical teams to drive U.S. Bank’s modernization strategy.
The Adoption and Enablement team's core responsibilities include customer engagement, intake, onboarding, demos, POCs, community development, education, coaching, level 1 support, and fostering a self-service environment with an agile mentality across all supported products.
This position will primarily focus on Data Science, assisting our customers with their journey into AI/ML modeling and analytics on prem or in the cloud. Your strong technical leadership and communication skills will help our stakeholders realize their vision and business goals by guiding them to the Data Science products made available by our engineering team.
What You will do
Articulate to stakeholders the U.S. Bank Data Science and on prem or cloud first strategy
Articulate business line use case functional requirements to the product and engineering teams
Contribute to the Data Science product vision, strategy, and roadmap by participating in a wide variety of technical and business groups, committees and communities
Ensure we continuously adapt to business changes and evolve to meet emerging consumer needs
Contribute and take part in the communication of product vision to stakeholders, clearly outlining the benefits to end-users and the business line
Assist the lines of business, showing them how to use data analytics and modeling tools to provide business value
Work with A & E customers to analyze consumption data and get feedback from end-users to identify necessary improvements and fixes
Work with the Product team to prioritize required changes so that the most significant pain points and opportunities are addressed first
Manage and implement new processes and practices for an efficient onboarding experience
Assist in executing the move of legacy business functions to the cloud
Participate in the intake process, interviewing prospective customers for new Data Science use cases
Provide demos to customers showcasing our Data Science products and capabilities
Assist in the coordination of proof of concepts (POCs) with prospective customers
Assist in onboarding of use cases to the appropriate on prem or cloud resource
Assist in building a community around our Data Science offerings
Assist in the creation of technical documentation and videos for “how to” and “best practices”
Coach and mentor stakeholders so they are successful with our library of self-service on prem and cloud-based tools
Level 1 support for Data Science BI, on prem and cloud products and services
Assists in building performance and usage metrics for Data Science products and services
Perform BAU activities such as shared mailbox and Yammer questions
Assists in distributing work to FT and contractor labor
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business statistics or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience in Data Science (analytics and AI/ML model development)
Experience in product management (Agile, Kanban and product-model delivery practices)
Experience in the financial services or similar industry
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, KNIME, Alteryx, ETL/Data prep, Python, R, Jupyter Notebooks, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, SQL, or related databases (relational and non-relational and graph db)
Experience leading teams of data scientists or analytic associates
Experience with predictive modeling (regression/classification) and/or numerical optimization (linear/nonlinear)
Experience working with large data sets (millions of rows, thousands of columns) both structured and unstructured
Experience translating customer requirements into meaningful Data Science based value-added solutions
Experience presenting demo’s and POC’s to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $120,870.00 - $142,200.00 - $156,420.00
