Position SummaryA Big Data Developer in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is responsible for designing, building, and managing large-scale data processing systems using GCP services. The role involves leveraging cloud-native tools and technologies to develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data is processed efficiently and securely.

Required Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in Big Data technologies like Hadoop or GCP

Key Responsibilities:1. Data Pipeline Development:- Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines using GCP services like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.2. Data Integration:- Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.3. ETL Processes: Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to handle large volumes of data.4. Big Data Technologies:- Utilize big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Elastic Search and Kafka in conjunction with GCP tools.5. Data Storage Solutions:- Design and manage data storage solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other GCP storage services.6. Performance Optimization:- Optimize data processing and storage solutions for performance and cost-efficiency.7. Collaboration:- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.8. Documentation and Compliance:-Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and compliance with data governance and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications- Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with data.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Continual learner who stays updated with the latest trends and advancements in big data and cloud technologies.

EducationBachelors in Computer Science or related disciplines.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$64,890.00 - $129,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
