CVS Health Senior .Net Developer for Minute Clinic in Raleigh, North Carolina

Position Summary

Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as Senior Analyst Application Development. The Sr. Analyst, Application Development will be responsible for technology solutions and delivery of key Retail IT projects.

The Sr. Analyst Application Development is a liaison position coordinating Minute Clinic projects between Business and Minute Clinic IT. This Sr. Analyst will be responsible for participating in solutions and integration for Minute Clinic & Epic Applications including building backend services in .Net framework and .Net Core, web application and services and working with external vendors and other internal teams within CVS. This position will also be that of a key developer who explores new evolving technology stack and finds opportunities to apply them in the capabilities requirements for Minute Clinic. This position will participate actively in achieving CVS Health strategic goals using reusable, highly reliable retail assets. The Sr. Analyst role will also be responsible for all stages of the Minute Clinic project life cycle – PRF, BEG, Requirements, Design, Build, QA, Deploy and Warranty. This role will also serve as an integral partner in the business development process and ensure that assigned projects comply with the CVS Health roadmaps and standards. The Sr. Analyst role will also lead projects and have meetings with architects and BAs as well as support PMs to ensure project timelines are met. This role will be providing technical expertise and work with the team and the broader organization and provide inputs to designs and technical solutions to facilitate decision making and mitigate development and implementation risks.

The Advisor, Application Development will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical expertise and contributing to the team throughout all stages of the SDLC

  • Applying technical knowledge in developing vision, strategy, architecture, and overall design for assigned domain and solutions.

  • Work very closely with the team and architects, and participate in overall project architecture and design, development, and support.

    Achieving technical goals by being deliberate and resourceful in learning new technologies and balancing priorities, risks, and expenses to successfully manage, build and deliver on-time with consistency, high quality and within budget. Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in application development using .Net framework & .Net Core.

  • 5+ years of experience in SQL queries, Database design, query writing and performance tuning and other related technologies.

  • 5+ years of experience in XML/XSLT, SVN, GIT, Unit Testing, MS Visio

  • 5+ years of technical capability of project delivery

  • 5+ years of experience in working with Distributed systems, knowledge in load balancing, caching, messaging.

  • 5+ years of experience in working with EMR system like Epic. Also have knowledge in the backend Clarity data model of the Epic Application.

  • 2+ years of experience in working with public Clouds like Azure, AWS or GCP.

  • 5+ years of experience managing large Retail applications

  • 5+ years applying understanding of the complete SDLC

  • 5+ years leading and managing a large IT team consisting of internal and external resources

  • 1+ year experience in xUnit/NUnit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial acumen (budget planning and management, ROI analysis)

  • Manage scope and estimate delivery schedules of projects.

  • Ability to grow, motivate and lead effective and high functioning teams in both local and virtual environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally.

  • Ability to lead and manage organizational change with ability to predict, recognize and manage cultural and technological changes within the organization and to prescribe corresponding transitions.

  • Experience of migrating on-prem applications to Cloud – GCP, Azure or AWS.

  • Excellent oral and written communications, and ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.

  • Able to navigate complex organizations and administrative processes.

  • Organization effectiveness and continuous process improvement

  • Knowledge of PBM and Retail and any other applications, software products or hosted services used by CVS Caremark is desirable.

Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Master’s degree, in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$64,890.00 - $129,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
