The Public & Labor Senior Manager of Account Management provides strategic sales leadership to cultivate and expand business relationships with new and existing accounts. Drives account management and business retention for products and services in support of organizational business objectives.

In this leadership role, you will:

  • Manages projects, programs, or processes for the Account Management area.

  • Develops key organizational paths to people and functions who can help resolve client problems and to ensure alignment on priority issues.

  • Collaborates with team members to address specific requests and initiatives of the plan sponsor.

  • Develops actionable insights derived from project management tools, data analyses, and stakeholder feedback to drive improvement for Account Management area.

  • Reviews client reporting data to determine trend and utilization.

  • Manages Reporting schedule ensuring all required daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports are released to the client timely.

  • Articulate service offerings of the client’s medical benefits with an in depth understanding of medical plan, as well as additional services offered to membership.

  • Plans, Schedules, and Leads all related activities that includes internal and external contacts to ensure successful Open Enrollment Events.

  • Coordinates with Marketing team primarily around Open Enrollment and other Plan Sponsor marketing campaigns.

  • Attends and delivers presentations at events throughout the state of NC to represent the Aetna Account Team and further strengthen relationships with key NC stakeholders and community partners.

  • Designs and executes a comprehensive plan to maximize profitability by expanding penetration of existing products and cross-selling new products and/services.

  • Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in the marketplace by participating in community and industry events as an organizational representative.

  • Shares relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units and segments to support the development of new product initiatives.

  • Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum relevant years of experience: 7-10 year of expereince as an Account Manager supporting large NAT accounts.

  • Demonstrated expereince leading a team of Account Managers.

  • Working in the Public & Labor segment is preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $165,954.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
