Position Summary

As a member of CVS Health Workspace Solutions Exchange Engineering team, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to architect and advise on an enterprise-wide Exchange platform. In addition, you will create, build, maintain, standardize, and troubleshoot email workflows for a multi-functional on-premises platform and 365 exchange online cloud platform.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in automating complex administrative tasks.

• Ability to lead small technical teams with clearly scoped goals.

• Splunk and scripting language experience.

• 10-15 years’ experience with Exchange Platform.

• 5 years consulting exchange experience.

• Ability to architect and advise on multiple platforms from Exchange, Cloud platform and AAD Connect.

• Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online in large scale Hybrid implementations (i.e. 50,000+ mailboxes)

• Cloud Technologies: Azure, Office 365 migrations, Hybrid setup, AFDS, DirSync, Secure connections, internet message routing, Migration tools & reporting capabilities

• Archiving and journaling tools and capabilities (Enterprise Vault, Mimecast, SourceOne Products)

• Large scale multi-site, multi-domain Active Directory implementations

• Windows Server 2016, 2019 IT environments

• Monitoring and reporting tools, scripting not only limited to Exchange but also Azure AD and on-premises Active Directory, Exchange APIs like EWS and Graph API to assist application development teams

• Network Protocols / Configurations: DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, Switches, firewalls.

• Non-Exchange email technologies like Send Mail, Postfix

• Exchange Server integration with various collaboration applications like Faxing, Skype for Business, Teams and SharePoint

• Integration with Monitoring tools, load balancers

• Advanced troubleshooting skills for on-premises Exchange environments (mailbox provisioning/deprovisioning, email flow, database redundancy, certificates, content indexes and mailbox management) and Exchange Online (email flow, provisioning/deprovisioning, license management, e-discovery, email security)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to become a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME) within assigned client environments

• Strive for continued growth and maturity of technical and soft skills

• Able to respond promptly, communicate, and follow-up with client requests and/or incidents

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks and organizations

• Ability to understand and focus on business needs first when designing or implementing a technology solution

• Responsible for an in-depth understanding of what business your clients are in and how they function

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent to related field 10 years+ of system engineering and support or consultant experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$106,605.00 - $213,210.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
