Visit www.LaGuardia.edu to learn more. LaGuardia Community College?s Social Science Department is accepting applications from qualified candidates who have a Master's or Ph. D. degree in Economics to teach introductory economics courses to the undergraduate students. This is a part time, adjunct position and availability of classes varies from semester to semester. We are looking for candidates who have experience teaching in all possible teaching modalities such as in-person, hybrid, online (both synchronous and asynchronous). We offer classes during the day, evenings, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor: Master's Degree or Ph.D. degree in Economics. Also required is the ability to teach successfully. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Must have at least two years? experience teaching relevant courses at undergraduate level COMPENSATION For Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100/hour For Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33/hour For Adjunct Full Professor: $112.50/hour CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs.
