Academic ASAP Program Manager ASAP/ACE - Associate Director POSITION DETAILS Reporting to the QCC ASAP Executive Director, the Associate Director for Recruitment will lead the development and execution of recruitment strategies and collaborate with various program units to achieve recruitment goals. This role is integral to supporting ASAP?s overall objectives by working closely with the Engagement, Retention, Career, and Financial Aid services teams. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the ASAP Executive Director to create a comprehensive recruitment plan aligned with program goals. Oversee all recruitment and communication activities to ensure effectiveness and consistency. Utilize CRM platforms and text communication tools to manage the recruitment process efficiently, ensuring accurate student data tracking. Ensure that the program website, promotional materials, and content are up-to-date and meet the needs of prospective students. Collaborate with Student Affairs Enrollment Management (EM) and Marketing to integrate ASAP into broader campus strategies. Lead and train the recruitment team, delegate responsibilities, and coordinate recruitment tasks to ensure optimal team performance. Regularly evaluate team workloads to guarantee efficient recruitment operations. Cultivate and maintain relationships with pre-matriculation programs, high schools, and internal college departments. Represent the program at external events, conferences, and enrollment management related meetings on and off-campus. Manage recruitment-related data, including student coding in CUNYfirst, and prepare analytical reports to evaluate recruitment efforts and improve strategies. Implement processes to verify student eligibility for ASAP and ensure all recruitment activities align with enrollment guidelines. Develop and maintain training programs focused on best practices in customer service, ensuring ASAP staff deliver high-quality interactions with students and QCC community. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and six years related experience. Preferred qualifications include: Master's degree and six years of relevant experience on a college campus. Proven experience in a community college setting, demonstrating strong knowledge of recruitment and enrollment functions. Proven experience in supervising and managing teams, demonstrating effective leadership and team development skills. Experience effectively managing CRM platforms and communication technology tools to enhance recruitment processes. Evidence of skills in customer service and staff training, contributing to a positive work environment. Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively. Experience in compliance and recruitment eligibility management, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards. Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) helps students earn their college degree as quickly as possible, by removing the financial, academic, and personal obstacles that many students confront. Key ASAP program features include a consolidated block schedule, cohorts by major, required full-time study and comprehensive advisement and career development services. Reporting to the ASAP Director, the ASAP Manager is responsible for the daily administration of ASAP program activities. Establishes semester block programs and manages and schedules all other academic support activities such as tutoring and workshops Supervises planning and implementation of ASAP summer programming, including summer course taking, workshops, and the ASAP summer institute, and other special student activities Assists Financial Aid, Registrar, and Bursar in evaluating student eligibility, finalizing registration, and verifying tuition charges Assists the ASAP Director with required reporting and collaboration with other college units Monitors and assesses data reports on a regular basis to ensure movement towards ASAP success benchmarks and to determine student support needs Oversees advisement and delivery of comprehensive support services to ASAP students Supervises professional and support staff Performs related duties as assigned CUNY TITLE Higher Education Associate FLSA Exempt COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Salary Range - $ 86,645 - $ 93,491 CUNY's benefits contribute significantly to total compensation, supporting health and wellness, financial well-being, and professional development. If a new health plan is selected, the new plan will be effective on the 366th day. Only after the 365th day can the employee participate in any Annual Fall Transfer Period. An employee who needs to request an exemption from the required enrollment in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan can do so by submitting a HIP HMO Opt-Out Request Form to EmblemHealth.
