The Research Foundation for SUNY Invasive Species Technician in Purchase, New York

Job Summary: Invasive species technicians will be responsible for monitoring and removing invasive plants and insects in the Project Area on Purchase College Campus.

Job Duties:

  • Develop a transect system for monitoring invasive and native species in the project area

  • Mechanically remove invasive plant species

  • Record data on native and invasive species, along with treatment/control strategies for invasive species

    Job Requirements:

Required Education/Qualifications:

  • Current or recent SUNY graduate

  • Environmental Studies degree or program

    Additional Information:

Hourly Pay Rate-$20.00
