Company Brief: NASH is one of the Business Division of Ingersoll Rand with the products ranges of Liquid ring vacuum pumps (LRVP’S), Liquid ring compressors, Standard LRVP packages, Engineered vacuum & compressor systems, Steam jet air ejectors (SJAE’S), Condensers - barometric & surface types, Hybrid Vacuum Systems (i.e., LRVP’s with 1st stage(s) of ejectors or blowers).
Location - Phulgaon ,Pune
This position is accountable to carry out Inspection of components at supplier’s place and monitoring and marinating quality norms at suppliers place to have smooth execution and timely delivery of the components to factory.
Inspection of in house shop floor activities.
Education, Qualification & Experience:
Education – Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of Experience in Inspection of fabricated and bought out components such as vessels, heat exchanger, valves, rotary pumps and pump components
Witnessing FAT or rotary components
Certification in Non-Destructive Testing i.e. ASNT NDT level-II in PT, RT, UT etc.
Certification in ISO 9001 auditing will be an added advantage
Shall have prior experience of handling inspections of customer like GE, Technip, tKIS, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, ONGC, LTHE, tKIS, EIL, NTPC, BHEL etc.
Well versed with conducting supplier audits, gap findings and implementing corrective actions.
Work Activities:
Visit at supplier’s place for component inspection and witness of test as per Project approved ITP
Conduct joint inspections with customer /TPI at supplier’s place and clear the material
In house shop quality surveillance, ISO 9001 Documentation.
Resolve queries / issues related to parts / documents raised after receipt of parts in our factory during pump assembly.
Review of WPS, PQR, NDT Procedures, Testing Procedures, ITP etc.
Carry out supplier audit to verify technical feasibility
Dimensional and Visual inspection of Fabricated and bought out components
Take feedback from shop quality and operation team for the issues in assembly of bought out items and work on necessary corrections at supplier end.
Work with Procurement team for timely completion of inspection activities and on time supply of material to factory .
