Citizens Funds Transfer Pricing Manager in Providence, Rhode Island


Position Summary: The Treasury Balance Sheet Modeling (BSM) and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) Team is responsible for the management, oversight and delivery of a centralized BSM & FTP Framework. This framework is at the center of Treasury’s strategic processes. In this role, the individual will be an integral member of the FTP function within Treasury & Balance Sheet Strategies, working closely with the Lines of Business to analyze, develop, and implement transfer pricing approaches. The individual will work to ensure precision around transfer pricing calculations and reporting of results to relevant stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities: • Gain a proficient understanding of transfer pricing concepts and their impacts on Line of Business results. • Develop and implement transfer pricing methodologies: o Craft approaches as new or modified products are onboarded to the bank. o Update and refresh analyses regarding existing methodologies. o Ensure methodologies are accurately captured within QRM Risk Framework output for FTP actual processing, as well as Budgeting/Forecasting cycles. o Syndicate new and updated methodologies along with associated financial impacts to executive management and interested parties. • Deliver monthly transfer pricing reporting to executive management and interested parties. Enhance reporting for committee meetings and Line of Business support unit analysis. • Build a cooperative relationship and work closely with the internal stakeholders such as Corporate Planning and Lines of Business to ensure timely and accurate actual FTP reporting and Budget/Forecasted FTP. • Collaborate with internal Treasury teams such as Asset & Liability Management, Integrated Stress Testing, Funding & Liquidity, and Information Systems to ensure consistent application of Interest Rate Risk methodologies across all use cases. • Work to further strategic FTP initiatives such as Planning, LIBOR Transition, Break Funding and Mismatch Center analysis. • Deliver ad-hoc analytics as requested by senior management in support of strategic initiatives and risk management. • Assist with monthly QRM production processing, review, and analysis, as necessary.


• 3 to 5 years of experience in Treasury, Finance or Banking. • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field. • Strong analytical and assessment skills. • Strong MS Excel skills required. • Strong communication skills – both oral and written. • Strong understanding of concepts associated with Pricing and Profitability. • Focus on delivering exceptional internal customer service, proactive communication and follow-up. • Demonstrated experience building long-term relationships with strategic business partners. • Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering recommendations in a concise way. • Dynamic, energetic personality capable of motivating a diverse group to achieve a common goal. • Strategic thinker, capable of seeing the bigger picture. • Good time management skills, understanding the challenges around prioritization. • Experience with QRM Framework software package preferred. • Experience with reporting is preferred. • Essbase, MS PowerPoint, and SQL proficiency preferred. • Graduate degree, CFA, and/or FRM a bonus; team will support study towards program
