The Information Protection team develops and maintains various security services to ensure the integrity of S&P Global’s end user computing assets. They work with the broader Information Security organization to implement corporate standards for employees, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities and Impact:

An endpoint security analyst focuses on the management and security of endpoint devices in the organization, ensuring they are protected from the cybersecurity threats. You will work closely with the senior security support team to implement, monitor and troubleshoot security solutions for desktops, laptops and mobile devices.

Assist in

  • The deployment, configuration, and management of endpoint security solutions such EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)

  • Perform regular security checks on endpoint devices, ensuring all security controls are up to date and functioning properly.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that patch management processes are followed, and endpoints are consistently patched.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of endpoint security programs and processes.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $25 to $35. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

  • Basic knowledge of information security principles and practices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation and creative problem-solving skills)

  • Basic understanding of End User Computing and Collaboration services, Windows, MAC, iOS and Android devices

  • An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment

  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques, and technologies

  • The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative settingSelf-motivated.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • Fully matriculated students with anticipated undergraduate graduation date in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026
