We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join our Pompano Beach, FL team.

Job Summary : The Cash Application Specialist/Credit Coordinator will be responsible for cash application functions. Candidate will record customer payments appropriately, identify and resolve payment discrepancies and answer customers inquires as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. This position reports directly to the Manager, Accounting & Credit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cash application which includes but not limited to keying payment information, and applying allowances and deductions

  • Compile and process customer refunds

  • Process EFT payments and Credit Card payments

  • Assist with the resolution of customer inquiries through the Credit Phone Loop

  • Assist with Month End closing process

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

  • Additional tasks as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

*Strong organizational skills and good written and verbal communications

*Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

*Ability to handle high volume of work efficiently

*Strong customer service orientation.

*Strong team player

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in Accounts Receivable

  • Must have experience using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level
