This position is based in Plano, TX, with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.

Who we’re looking for:

The TFS Productivity Engineering team is seeking a Senior AV Solutions Engineer to contribute to the design and architecture of Audio/Visual (A/V) environments, including new site implementations, system upgrades, and operational optimizations. This role supports A/V strategy, user experience, and operations, while identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings across Toyota North America and globally. The ideal candidate will be self-organizing, solution-oriented, and passionate about delivering frictionless A/V experiences. Responsibilities include negotiating critical implementation activities, managing AV systems through full project lifecycles, and collaborating with Onsite Managed Services teams to ensure optimal operating standards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing subject matter expertise in the AV project lifecycle: Requirements gathering, solution design, integrator engagements, implementation, commissioning, operations readiness, and user training.

  • Analyzing usage trends and use-case scenarios that will aid the develop and improve AV experiences

  • Troubleshooting & optimizing the stability the AV environment

  • Supporting special event requiring various needs for AV production

  • Establishing & enforcing company/industry standards

  • Designing & measuring quality of experience

  • Drive standardization and best practices for the design and implementation services in the A/V environment.

  • Working closely with the other teams to release services and features to the enterprise

  • Consult and provide technical direction to TFS Service Providers supporting the A/V environment with respect to enhancements, upgrades, patching, or run and maintain services.

  • Providing Level 3 technical and escalation support to TFS Service Providers for any Production or Operational issues related to the TFS A/V environment.

  • Partner and collaborate with managed services teams to understand business drivers, to deliver operationally-sound solutions.

  • Partner across business teams to understand work styles and propose solutions which increase adoption of supported services.

What you bring

  • 3+ years experience in the design, implementation, and commissioning of complex AV solutions.

  • Hands-on experience deploying and optimizing Microsoft Teams Rooms systems.

  • Strong awareness in the progressively evolving A/V collaboration industry.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to senior management.

  • Proactive approach to identifying problems and developing innovative solutions.

Added bonus if you have

  • 5+ yeas experience in the design, implementation, and commissioning of complex AV solutions.

  • Technical certifications in related field

  • Hands on experience with the following AV solutions/platforms: Logitech, Crestron, Microsoft Surface Hub, Biamp, Digital Signage

  • Capability to replace legacy infrastructure and processes.

  • Experience in the agile scrum framework.
