Partner4Work Learn and Earn Field Service Team Member in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Partner4Work connects funding, expertise, and opportunities to develop a thriving workforce in the Pittsburgh region and we administer the Learn and Earn program on behalf of Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh. Learn and Earn is a summer youth employment program open to low-income young people ages 14 to 24 who reside in Allegheny County or the City of Pittsburgh. The application opens in March and youth are employed from the end of June to early August. We're seeking a versatile team member with outstanding people skills to play a key role in implementing the various stages of the program. You'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact for local youth by helping ensure a streamlined application and placement process. Summary Partner4Work is currently seeking a talented individual with a passion for serving youth to join the Learn and Earn Summer Youth Employment Program team from March 1 to August 21, 2021. Job roles in spring and early summer will consist of supporting outreach events and promoting the program while also providing technical assistance to youth applying to the program. While youth are employed, the Field Service Team Member carries out site visits and provides support to the network of providers implementing programs. The job may be performed in person or remotely, as advised through the public health guidance issued by federal, state, county or city agencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities *Provide customer service to applicants (youth and parents) and community members *Conduct site visits to providers and worksites *Perform outreach and promotional activities to engage youth and to increase visibility of Learn and Earn, including social media campaigns and information fairs *Perform data entry in the Salesforce database *Assist with application eligibility review process as needed *Assist with youth placement process as needed *Assist Corporate Trainer with planning and delivery of weekly professional skills training *Assist with monitoring of subrecipient programming Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities *Strong customer service and interpersonal skills *Enthusiasm for supporting youth in obtaining summer employment *Attention to detail *Strong computer skills and familiarity with Salesforce (or equivalent database), online survey platforms, G-Suite *Exceptional written and verbal communication *Knowledge of and prior experience in youth programs, workforce development, or high needs communities in the County preferred *Ability to work remotely through video conference and phone calls, if need be Required Experience and Education *High School diploma or equivalent *At least two years working in a related field, such as education, workforce development, or customer service *Must have a vehicle and be willing to travel locally ADA Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
