Our Neurological Specialists work together to provide wide-ranging, seamlessly connected neurological care. We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to join the outpatient Neurology team at Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute Neurology in the Charlotte Area.
We have an amazing opportunity for a Neurology APP to provide care for cognitive patients in the outpatient setting. This APP would provide neurologic care with a focus on memory and cognitive disorders in a well-supported collaborative environment. Full-time opportunity with flexibility for either 4 or 5 days per week schedule.
Position Details:
Prior APP experience is required. Neurology experience is preferred.
Provide Neurocognitive care for patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Desirable schedule Monday-Friday with option of 4-day work week.
12-15 patients per day (consults, hospital follow-ups, and routine follow-ups)
No call or weekends.

Essential Functions:
Performs physical examinations, assessments, and develops appropriate plan of care.
Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications.
Orders and interprets daily laboratory and radiology examinations.
Documents all patient encounters, records observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner on the patient's medical record.
Attends, participates, and contributes to group/practice meetings and development of standard procedures for department.
