What You Will Achieve
Key contributor to Pfizer's Global Net Zero Program through development and deployment of systems, tools and documentation for managing, tracking, monitoring and reporting of key program elements.
Provide guidance with identification and implementation of Sustainability related opportunities at the sites as well as monitor site project delivery implementation and engagement to address gaps.
Self-directed and proactive, able to find new ways to progress the job as well as capable of planning ahead for future needs.
Provide troubleshooting support and technical expertise required to achieve and sustain optimum reliability, maintainability, useful life, and life cycle cost for a facilities, utilities.
Develop and maintain Sustainability performance systems and metrics (including those related to energy, greenhouse gas and facility footprint)
Maintain systems and data, integrity, accuracy, accessibility, and reliability, such that Pfizer reported facility carbon emissions can be appropriately verified by a third party.
Gather and analyze information needed to generate reports that inform management of the current status of Net Zero Program objectives, Operating Unit objectives or site level objectives.
Provide analysis of historical, current and future trends and performance, and recommendations to address energy and water related opportunities.
Develop and maintain systems needed to collect, organize and communicate "good practices" in energy management and sustainable operations such as SharePoint sites, eRoom areas, etc.
Manage the development and submission of Visual Management or Balanced Scorecard measures and other metrics as needed.
Serve as system administrator for Pfizer Energy Tools and Systems, including:
Subject Matter Expert for Energy Tools
Provide training to system users
Develop continuous improvement ideas for improvement of systems and processes.
Analyze trends to drive evaluation, decision-making, and operational improvement.
Manage the development and use of standardized reports.
Manage and maintain Program documentation
Provide analysis of opportunities to replicate projects with recommendation to the sites.
Organize and facilitate Regional Meetings as necessary.
Working with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in provides technical or business support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Your documentation skills will come in handy to prepare engineering documentation and reports. You will be conducting preliminary analysis of trajectory adequacy data, model dimensional consistency and quantitative judgements concerning technical data.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It
Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time to meet agreed targets, develops plans for short-term work activities on own projects.
Work with the supervisor to ensure safety and quality in all aspects of operations.
Ensure that work performed by the assigned staff is accurate, timely, efficient and compliant with corporate policies, (Current) Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP) regulations, and Regulatory Agency requirements.
Provide technical expertise during audits, present or defend engineering systems, applicable change controls, investigations and equipment requalification packages to the regulatory agencies and ensure that all eco systems standards are audit ready.
Lead team to develop optimizations, determining the implementation approach and driving implementation.
Develop technical and operational standards and provide routine equipment technical support and troubleshooting for resolution of manufacturing issues.
Develop and maintain productive links with process equipment & technology suppliers and vendors.
Engage with teams when required to agree on the process for work prioritization.
Effectively Utilize an engineering approach to problem solving.
Demonstrate excellent communications skills; written and verbal.
Utilize excellent presentation skills.
Detail oriented data management skills.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Applicant must have High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with eight years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with six years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience; OR a Master's degree with more than one year of experience.
Energy reduction programs and facilities and utilities equipment.
Experience working within the pharmaceutical Industry.
Certified Energy Manager Training.
Understanding of energy consumption and conservation principles.
Broad understanding of systems architecture and operations, and related components.
Data Management experience, IIoT Applications, PDH (i.e., OSI PI).
Knowledge of ISO500001 Energy Management Principles.
Computer skills (Microsoft office suite, mini-tab, SharePoint, and software such as Ariba, etc.).
Fluency in English.
Nice-to-Have
Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
Knowledge of site operations.
Experience with process controls and data historians including design and debugging skills.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Up to 30% overnight travel, some international travel required.
Candidate can reside in US or Europe but must be available during normal US business hours.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,700.00 to $126,300.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 10.0% of the base salary. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.
