As a Strategic Account Executive (SAE), Sr Mgr, for the Commercial Sales Elevance team, you will serve as the liaison leader supporting a PBM and their clients. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with Executive Leadership both internally and externally. In this role, you will use your expertise to grow our business through support of new business, renewals and up-selling of existing clients.

You will accomplish this through:

  • Building strong relationships both internally as well as with the key client stakeholders,

  • Increasing adoption of our enterprise solutions with a focus on growth,

  • Partnering in new sales activities, product ideation and opportunities,

  • Consultation on managing the changing regulatory landscape,

  • Partnering with Account Management, Clinical and Operations to deliver on client satisfaction up-sell opportunities and service delivery,

  • Providing leadership on key strategic initiatives that affect your clients' marketplace and the division,

    • Supporting client renewals by building relationships with key client stakeholders and asking effective probing questions that lead to innovation pharmacy benefit plan designs benefiting both the client and CVS Health,
  • Providing critical day-to-day leadership over project level resources and general initiative oversight,

  • Improving Client Satisfaction by ensuring high quality consulting and service while developing strong, long-term relationships,

  • Demonstrating strong communication skills and ability to effectively work across two very large and highly matrixed organizations,

  • Formulating responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) through collaboration with primary internal partners such as underwriting and proposals.

Your success as a Strategic Account Executive will be driven by your ability to help the client grow and achieve above average client satisfaction scores. You will function as a leader for the account team and your ability to influence others to deliver results for your client will also be a key factor in your success. Your understanding of the PBM and managed care environment as well as keeping up to date on market trends will enable you to position CVS Health programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers. The contributions you will make as a Strategic Account Executive will position both our client and CVS Health for long term growth in the competitive PBM marketplace. Our division requires a thoughtful individual that can think strategically and creatively, while leverage their existing knowledge to drive the desired outcomes.

This position can be remotely based or in a CVS Corporate Hub. You must have ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Travel may require, but is not limited to, flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company.

Required Qualifications:

· 3+ years of cumulative Sales, Account Management, Clinical or equivalent client-facing experience in healthcare or the PBM industry,

· Ability to lead cross functional sales opportunities that touch various departments from concept to completion.

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
