CVS Health Product Innovations Manager in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

Develop and manage significant product initiatives. Strong product, marketing and project management skills, strong technical knowledge of products and systems.

As part of the Medicaid Product Team, lead product development and management initiatives and teams to create innovative and member-centered solutions.

Fundamental Components

  • Leverages in-depth knowledge and understanding of products across functions and market segments in directing the development and implementation of new product initiatives, including product enhancements

  • Directs, evaluates, and provides requirements/specifications for use of appropriate business processes and systems to support product initiatives

  • Seek and maintain comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences and competitive pressures to develop and enhance product portfolio

  • Consult / drive effective product offerings to customers to meet organizational goals

  • Establish and manage large (or significant) cross-functional development and implementation work groups. Anticipate resource needs, set priorities, establish accountabilities, define roles/responsibilities and manage relationships to secure necessary resources not under direct control.

  • Directs the development of training materials for internal audiences related to new product roll-out.

  • Directs the development of marketing materials for external stakeholders and use within RFPs, legislative bodies, etc. related to products. May support sales teams as subject matter expert.

  • Interprets legislative, competitive and industry issues to recommend new products or product enhancements.

  • Support the maintenance and ongoing development of internal product catalog and playbooks

Background Experience

  • 6+ years of related industry experience.

  • 3+ years of health care experience, preferably in Medicaid.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience

Additional Information (situational competencies, skills, work location requirements, etc.):

  • Product Marketing experience

  • Experience leading cross functional project management initiatives.

  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment.

  • Advanced communication/presentation skills.
