Reference #: FITFISADH08202002Fiscal Administrator Description/Job Summary The Fiscal Administrative Assistant collects, processes and records the day-to-day financial functions of the program and its participants as well as providing general administrative support. Responsibilities/Duties - Oversee and assist with the implementation of the program's financial components- Maintain, update, record, reconcile and track both participant and program financial data- Record, calculate and document rental assistance payments, security deposits, invoices, program expenditures and participant expenses- Utilization of the HMIS data entry system and Excel (WebNOW and AVATAR a plus)- Attend trainings, workshops and meetings as needed- Local travel as needed- Meet with the Stabilization Case Manager and Program Director monthly- Respond to request for information- Administrative duties include typing, filing, mailings, etc.- Perform other related duties as assigned. Duties may be assigned or reassigned at anytime Required Experience Two years related experience working with budgets, numbers, calculations, accounting Required Education High school diploma required, Associate's degree preferred Required Qualifications - Solid accounting skills, fiscal management experience and knowledge of operational policies/procedures, contracts/proposals- Experienced with the utilization of spreadsheets, general ledgers, AP and AR- Associate degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.- Must possess proficiency in computer applications Word, Excel and HMIS- Both clerical and financial/fiscal work experience required- Must be detailed orientated, strong organizational skills, able to time manage, multi-task, prioritize and work independently as well as within a team.- Ability to interact with consumers, vendors and other service providers is essential- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (listening, oral, written)- A valid driver's license and insured vehicle needed Program Summary The Resources for Human Devlopment (RHD), Rapid Rehousing program work with homeless and imminently homeless applicants/participants. The program provides assistance with locating housing, rental assistance, security deposits, housing stabilization services and linkages.Resources for Human Development is an equal opportunity employer.
