We?re looking for the next great writer to join Gregory FCA, Philadelphia?s largest public relations agency. Requirements

  • Demonstrated love for writing.

  • Desire to be part of a high-energy PR practice.

  • Ability to receive mentorship to hone skills for career advancement.

  • Nose for a good story.

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and hit deadlines.

  • Command of the English language, including the ability to proofread for grammar, style, and consistency. Knowledge of AP style is a plus.

  • Understanding of the technology (e.g., enterprise, consumer, financial technology) or financial services industry (e.g. RIAs, ETFs), is a plus.

  • Experience with SEO, WordPress, and social media is a plus.

Job Functions

  • Create compelling content for news releases, blog posts, bylined columns, social media posts, infographics, and more while working in a team environment.

  • Fact-check and proofread all documents for accuracy, consistency, proper grammar and punctuation, correct spelling, and AP/Gregory FCA style.

  • Adhere to and prioritize all deadlines.

  • Draft questions for and interview subject matter experts for various written content.

  • Participate in client calls and briefings.

  • Upload, format, optimize, and publish blog posts as needed.

  • Create social media copy and social buttons as needed.

  • Manage visual content for client blogs (e.g., cropping photos, creating GIFs, interfacing with internal graphic design resources) as necessary.

  • Acquaint self with issues, processes, terms, products, and regulations specific to client industries by reading and subscribing to appropriate media, blogs, social feeds, etc.

  • Monitor media throughout the day, and identify and respond to issues and topics of interest to the team and its clients.

  • Attend and participate in company and team training events.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor?s degree in journalism, English, or communications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience
