Pearson Test Administrator - Perth, Western AU in Perth, Australia

Pearson VUE offers a great environment to start or grow your career. We are now hiring a Casual Test Administrator to join our team at our Pearson Professional Centre, Perth Ground Floor, 1 William Street Perth, WA

Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork and has availability to work a variety of shifts across weekdays (Monday to Friday) and weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Our operating hours are between 7am and 11pm.

We offer an attractive pay rate of $34.74 per hour. This will be a permanent role.

  • Monday to Wednesday: 6:15pm to 9:15pm

  • Thursday : 3pm to 9:15pm (will include 20 mins paid break)

  • Fridays : 6pm to 9:15pm

  • Total fixed hours of 18.5 ( Monday to Friday). Additionally overtime payment will incur if extra time is required.

As a Test Administrator you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a secure exam delivery environment

  • Complying with all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies

  • Checking and verifying candidates' identification against test registration and assisting them in setting up for the test

  • Explaining the exam procedures and proctoring/invigilating candidates during testing

  • Troubleshooting with internal departments to fix any technical issues

  • Escalating any policy breaches immediately to the relevant business personnel

  • Completing light housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming the floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate has finished their examination

  • Performing other ad hoc duties as directed

To be successful in the position you’ll have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent

  • Preferably, a minimum of 1-year customer service experience

  • Highly desirable experience in proctoring or invigilating exams

  • Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • The ability to sit for long periods of time and to bend and lift up to 10 kilograms independently

  • Comfort in a quiet testing environment, with the ability to hear soft voices and see details from a distance
