About the Role: Specialist, Market Outreach

The Team:

A small but mighty team based in Penang with focus on operational excellence. The team specializes in sales development globally and reports under the enterprise marketing organization. The Central SDR team is made up of dynamic, skilled and fun individuals who effectively collaborates with each other to drive revenue and pipeline which ultimate helps with the team’s success.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Channel development- Monitor chat console and help navigate potential prospects to the respective divisions and sales representative. Monitor inbound sales calls understand the requirement and qualify these enquiries to the respective sales team.

  • Leverage AI to implement best in class practices for sales outreach/ cold calls and emails.

  • Be a part of the marketing operations centre of excellence, working towards mastering the marketing pipeline.

  • Qualification of inbound form fill leads based on BANT criteria.

  • Make cold calls and send outreach emails to various buying groups of target accounts. Manage at least 100 activities a day.

  • The SDR team has a central view of the core marketing operations landscape and will play a critical role in the overall success of the S&P Global.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills with some experience in sales development/ business development.

  • Willing to work in the US shift (9PM-6AM); must be flexible to work in other shift as per business need

  • Critical thinking- Ability to think on the go and rapid decision making.

  • Has experience exceeding KPI’s in quota-based roles.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business/ Marketing/ Sales degree (Bachelors or Masters)

  • Bilingual in any Asian / European languages. Preferably Chinese/ German.

  • Knowledge on CRM tools such as Salesforce, etc.

  • Understanding on Financial markets, economic indicators, etc
