What You Will Achieve

This is a laboratory-based position within the Vaccine Research and Development - Analytical Development group where the individual will provide routine sample testing to support process development of early phase vaccine candidates. Assays include but are not limited to HPLC and UV-VIS.

How You Will Achieve It

• Under supervision, perform routine sample testing in support of process development of early phase vaccine candidates. This includes preparing samples, setting up and running the instruments, and analyzing data.

• Document experiments and analyze data obtained from sample testing contemporaneously in notebook as directed.

• Plan daily workflow to complete the tasks/experiments outlined by the supervisor.

• Contribute and participate in general laboratory maintenance activities (such as maintenance of equipment, managing laboratory waste).

Qualifications

Must-Have

• BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline with 0-2 years of related laboratory work experience

• Proficiency in the use of word processing, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant scientific software is desirable.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Motivated and detail-oriented

Nice-to-Have

• Working knowledge of analytical techniques used for the characterization of pharmaceutical substances and products

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $54,700.00 to $91,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
