The Operations Supervisor in our Distribution Center directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. Manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance. Assists manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement thinking.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.

  • Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.

  • Manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.

  • Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.

  • Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section.

  • Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.

  • Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success.

  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services, engagement, motivation, and team development. This includes managing KPIs and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Facilitates the ongoing training and development of colleagues by implementing structured learning programs and providing opportunities for professional growth, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and individual career aspirations.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory/people leader experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment

  • 1-2 years Warehouse Management Systems experience

  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to be onsite during working hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork

  • Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

  • Working knowledge of business intelligence

  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills

  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
