Job Summary:

The Assistant Finance Manager is a vital role in the financial reporting function within the organization. The role drives financial reliability in all reporting aspects of general accounting and financial analysis. The role also requires analytical and critical thinking, a sense of urgency in completing deliverables, and an ability to work at a fast pace. Time management, communication skills, and ability for cross function coordination is essential to deliver accurate financial data to management.

Responsibilities:

· Supports Financial Controller in financial management functions to include report generation and analysis on variances, order and revenue by vertical market, GM report, AOP reports, etc., to assess the financial health of the company.

· Lead the preparation of monthly account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with financial reporting standards.

· Determine standard costs, investigate variances, monitor project costs spending, and implement improved revenue cycle processes and procedures.

· Drive timely and accurate processing of transactional activities to be used in management decision making.

· Review policies / conduct regular policy assessments, identify areas for improvement and recommend actions to improve financial procedures.

· Support, manage and facilitate external/internal audit and tax statutory filing.

· Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Candidate must be a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT with 5 years minimum relevant experience in Finance.

· Knowledge in financial operating system; proficiency in MS Excel is required

· Able to solve complex problems. Integrates and interprets data from diverse sources to find solutions.

· Financial Analysis – has good understanding of financial KPIs and number trends to provide insights into business performance and opportunities.

· Financial Processes & Controls – has a good grasp of financial processes to be able to manage day-to-day operations, drive process improvements, and implement controls to safeguard company interests.

· Business Acumen – able to understand business operations within the organization and the competitive environment of the industry to identify challenges and meet objectives.
