PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE
The Chairman Projects' team which is part of the SAP Innovation Center Palo Alto is looking for students with ninja-like software development (making, creating, and hacking) and design skills. We are working on diverse strategic projects, from creating new ways to visualize data, improving the way we collaborate with each other, creating new business solutions with customers, to coming up with visionary technology prototypes
If you are highly motivated and excited to work in a dynamic environment with changing tasks and responsibilities, brainstorming far away visions, creating beautiful software based on challenging requirements and tight timelines without much support due to the complexity of the technologies we interact with, then we are looking for you.

Strong enthusiasm and interest for new technologies and business models of the next generation
Dedication to prototype technology concepts with short turnaround times
Being able to tackle complex technical challenges independently and as a member of small teams
Education and Qualifications:
Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program which is applicable to the position. Major in Software/Computer Engineering or related fields
Experience with machine learning, deep learning & artificial intelligence (NLP, computer vision, data science, etc.).
Enjoying ambiguous challenges, fast iterations and independent thinking
Having worked with various technologies during your studies but also independent of it (e.g. as an intern, as trainee, at a start-up or together with friends) - to demonstrate that you’re driven to create beautiful & valuable technology solutions.
Development experience with at least one of the following technologies: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, 3D Sensors, AR, VR, Big Data, Processing, D3
Must be able to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA during summer 2018
