The Senior ICT Product Manager will be responsible for the product management and go-to-market of Telesat’s enterprise communications layer 3 solutions which include product profitability, solution specifications, lifecycle management, roadmap development to accelerate Enterprise customer’s digital transformation efforts.

Role responsibilities: (Product Management)

  • Assess market requirements for current and future products through market research, supported by customers and partner engagement

  • Develop business case, service definitions and modelling for product launch

  • Work with stakeholders on product launch processes and develop commercial models to generate new opportunities and awareness

  • Interface with customers to support and promote Telesat’s enterprise Layer 3 solutions

  • Work effectively across multiple stakeholders to manage development of new products including Product, Engineering, IT and Operations

Role responsibilities: (Plan and operationalize go-to-market initiatives)

  • Build joint development plans, execute go-to market plans and develop new market opportunities and support customers’ opportunities

  • Understand market gaps, build solution knowledge and value proposition for targeted customer segment. Evangelize the new product offering internally and externally to drive awareness and pipeline

  • Create sales enablement materials to drive customer conservations

  • Drive market development and customer engagements to educate & accelerate adoption jointly with partners and sales team

Education & Experience Required

  • 5-8 years relevant experience

  • Competency and experience in Enterprise connectivity and managed solutions, Carrier Ethernet, IP, SDWAN and emerging services

  • Prior experience as Product Manager in Enterprise Transport and Managed Solutions and/or Technology

  • Financial and economic (e.g., costs, price) modelling

  • Experience developing B2B (Business to Business) products

  • A degree in a relevant discipline: Engineering degree required, MBA is desirable

  • Creative problem-solver with thorough attention to detail

  • Analyzing, interpreting and presenting data.

  • Communicating insights through presentations.

  • Deep empathy for customers

  • Highly collaborative team-player who can quickly build trust

  • Ability to effectively communicate

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams

  • Ability to rigorously prioritize opportunities, needs, and resources
