Account Development Manager (Inside)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Development Manager to support our regional commercial and strategic sales team. The ideal candidate will assist our sales executives, manage customer inquiries, facilitate CRM account management and ensure smooth sales operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist sales representatives with CRM contract preparation activities and work collaboratively with internal teams to advance sales opportunities.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and align account development activities to achieve sales objectives.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system (Salesforce).

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of contracts & services.

  • Prepare account information to facilitate customer quarterly business reviews as required by the sales team.

  • Support the sales team in achieving their targets and objectives.

  • Take action to retain base revenue and work collaboratively with sales team drive account renewal activities.

  • Stay up to date with all products, pricing and benefits in an effort to drive sales through upsell opportunities.

  • Maintain a detailed touchpoint history in the Salesforce CRM by logging all customer data and interactions in a clear, timely manner.

  • Drive new sales opportunities by contacting our client base and facilitating client meetings with the Account Executive & Solution Architects.

What you will bring:

  • Post secondary degree in business, marketing or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven experience in a sales environment.

  • Experience with CRM systems for managing customer information and sales processes.

  • Understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and the commercial & strategic sales team.

  • Strong customer service skills to handle inquiries, complaints, and provide solutions.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.

  • Precision in processing quote creation and entering data to facilitate a high volume of contracts.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to think critically and provide solutions to customer and sales team issues.

  • Efficiently manage time to meet deadlines and support the sales team.

  • Ability to work well within a team and strong collaborative skills to coordinate with other departments.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week.
