Sodexo is seeking our Hands On Catering Manager 3 for Creighton University in Omaha, NE (https://studentlife.creighton.edu/living/dining) Creighton University is a Faith Based campus and is one of Sodexo's Showcase accounts for Campus Dining and Catering.

Our successful candidate will manage have previous Catering/Banquet management experience and will manage the day to day catering on campus, campus and conferences in the summer - averaging from 15 to 25 events per day. From High end plated service to high volume buffets. Reporting to the Catering Manager/Director, this leader will mentor, train and develop 2 catering coordinators - experience with mentoring building cohesive teams required.

This Catering Manager will focus on all main campus catering. Experience with excellent executive client relations, campus alumni relations, and understanding of setting up buffets to high end service. will provide the foundation of success for this role.

• 2 - 4 years Sr Catering captain or Banquet Captain experience with managing multiple events per day.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent leadership/team building skills

• Ability to handle catering at all levels from students to executives

• Professional demeanor is required

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
