Pearson Digital Product Specialist, CTE in Olympia, Washington

The Digital Product Specialist, CTE (Career and Technical Education) will produce digital solutions that meet the market demands of K12 CTE educators and delivering improved learner outcomes which drives value for our end users and revenue for Pearson. This role will drive the development of new products via vendors and internal teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and allocated budget.
Core tasks and responsibilities
Coordinate product development projects as determined by the Head of Product, CTE.
Collaborate closely on projects with colleagues from internal stakeholder teams, including other Product Managers, Content Production, UX, Application, and Platform Product Management teams throughout the product development project lifecycle.
Support the entirety of the CTE portfolio via product development projects as determined by the Head of Product, CTE.
Acquire the authorial talent for the given digital products.
Drive continuous improvement once products have been launched to optimize customer experience, adapt to specific geography/market segment requirements, respond to competitor actions, and improve learner, and commercial outcomes.
Experience
Degree (or equivalent) preferred
Product management experience, including managing digital products.
Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%)
Good understanding of K12 education, Career and Technical Education in particular, and learning from a consumer viewpoint.
Passionate about applying the principles of design thinking and bring empathy, curiosity, and collaboration as you explore and innovative ideas.
Ability to manage product development projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
About your compensation
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Full-time, base annual salary is $100,000 - $110,000.
