If marketing and selling a quality product at an affordable price is in your plan, then let’s strategize.\n\nWe are looking for a full-time Inside Sales Representative for our headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with assigned accounts to promote the Garmin brand and increase market share. Other responsibilities include outbound sales calls, order processing and customer service for assigned dealer accounts to increase sales and maximize service. Other essential functions include:\n\n\n\tEstablish, develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key business partners and dealers\n\tPartner with the Regional Sales Manager(s) and Regional Training Specialist(s) in the development and execution of strategies designed to increase market share and profit with existing accounts\n\tDevelop territory and manage accounts through outbound sales calls (including cold calls), internal tracking and coordination in a team environment with RSM(s) and RTS(s). \n\tRecommend the sale of additional product offerings and merchandise to dealers in order to expand the Garmin brand presence within the retail store and online environments\n\tMeet sales goals and objectives set by Garmin management\n\tEducate dealers on products, promotions, and Dealer Resource Center\n\tAnswer and handle customer phone calls, faxes and emails to ensure customer requests are processed\n\tAccurately enter orders into Oracle, verifying that customer purchase orders match Oracle orders & communicate any variances to customer\n\tInform customer of unit prices, shipping date, inventory availability, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer\n\tFollow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates, run open orders report as requested\n\tProcess and follow up with customer requests, inquiries and complaints in a timely manner\n\tCommunicate with Order Analyst, Production, Sales, Shipping, Warehouse and any other personnel needed to assist in the processing of the customer orders and inquiries\n\tFollow up on miss-shipped orders and damaged orders and complete shipping discrepancy form \n\tIssue Return Material Authorizations and credit memo’s when applicable\n\tCompile statistics and prepare various reports for management as requested\n\tMaintain open and honest communication with department leadership\n\tAttend meetings, tradeshows and training sessions as required\n Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description\n\nOther qualifications include:\n\n\n\tMust possess a proven track record in meeting established goals\n\tMust be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others\n\tMust be self motivated and energetic\n\tDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills\n\tMust possess the ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment\n\tMust be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills\n\tMust demonstrate proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\n\tMust possess a willingness and ability to travel when needed\n\tDemonstrated ability to meet goals, targets and performance metrics\n\n\nDesirable qualifications include:\n\n\n\t2 years of Garmin experience \n\tMust possess a demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Garmin’s product line (desired)\n\tFull knowledgeable in all aspects of order entry system with a thorough understanding of Oracle management\n\tOrder administration and sales experience in a business to business environment\n\tElectronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience\n\tBachelor’s degree\n\tBilingual in Spanish, French, Portuguese\n\n\nGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
