If you’re ready to work – and have fun, too – come, help us put the pieces together!\n\n \n\nWe are seeking a full-time Repair & Service Parts Planner 2 for our world headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing administration of service plans. This includes material forecasting and maintenance. You will also apply knowledge of product support planning, product lifecycle, return & rework flow, and inventory control systems to provide for and manage service inventory. May lead planning related projects. Other essential functions include: \n\n \n\nProficiently applies knowledge and understanding of Oracle, PLAN, Agile, and MRP in performance of planning tasks including:\n\n\n\n\tAdministers planning tasks in Oracle ERP system\n\tCompetently utilizes Oracle Discoverer to generate reports used in planning activities \n\tUses PLAN to facilitate MRP order releases\n\tUses Agile to perform administrative responsibilities including creation of BOM’s (Bill of Materials) and processing ECOs (Engineering Change Orders)\n\tExercises effective communication skills in performance of tasks/projects with customers, other departments, and cross functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations \n\n\n\n \n\nProvides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques including:\n\n\n\n\tDetermining root cause analysis and development of corrective action plans\n\tAssembling and analyzing data, identifying problems and developing recommendations which support supply chain operations and planning\n\n \n\nQualified candidates possess a Bachelors’ Degree AND 3 years’ experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description OR Associates Degree from a two year college or university AND 5 years’ experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description OR, High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 10 years’ experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description OR High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 5 years’ experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description AND management approved supply chain certificate. Other requirements include: \n\n\n\n\t\n\tDemonstrates intermediate proficiency and knowledge of applicable Microsoft Office software \n\t\n\t\n\tFacilitates lean practices\n\t\n\t\n\tSolid understanding of warehouse, manufacturing and service processes\n\t\n\t\n\tDemonstrates intermediate knowledge and use of planning tools\n\t\n\t\n\tDemonstrates full proficiency and knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and other planning tools required to perform essential functions of this role\n\t\n\t\n\tDemonstrates full knowledge and use of supply chain processes relevant for performing planning function\n\t\n\n\n\n \n\nPrevious work or internship experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment is highly preferred!\n\n \n\nOur benefits are designed to lead an evolving marketplace, support innovation and encourage a healthy balance between work and life.
