Position Summary
Directs the formulation, implementation and milestone tracking for business plans. Directs the strategic development and implementation of large product initiatives, including new products and product enhancements. Manage staffing planning and development activities across teams, including selection and development of Product Managers. Represent Product strategic issues with Senior Managers cross-functionally. Ensures integration of product strategy within company/business unit strategic and operational plans.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Develops a comprehensive clinical specialty product management and development strategy aligned with the organization's goals, market trends, and customer needs to successfully enhance the organization's competitive advantage in specialty RX.
Conducts comprehensive market and clinical research, analyzes customer insights, and monitors industry trends to identify clinical opportunities for quality and cost effective care.
Designs a product roadmap that outlines the vision, goals, and prioritization of clinical levers to enhance Medicare specialty drug benefits.
Manage the product development lifecycle, including core planning, compliance requirements and timely execution of requirements.
Communicates with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, strategic imperatives and operational execution of plan as well as to markets and stakeholders.
Communicates with internal stakeholders, including executives, marketing, sales, and customer support teams, to gather feedback, align objectives, and ensure successful product launches.
Designs key performance indicators (KPIs) while monitoring product performance metrics.
This is a remote role open to qualified candidates within the United States.
Required Qualifications
10+ years demonstrated experience in Managed Care & Medicare business segment
Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
Adept at business intelligence
Adept at collaboration and teamwork
Demonstrated deep clinical and business understanding of Medicare specialty drug benefits
Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills
Able to function in a fast paced and ever evolving market
Active, unrestricted pharmacist licensure in state of residence
Education
BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
