CVS Health Utilization Management Nurse Consultant in Ohio

Job Description

This is a telework role.Required schedule 1130am-800pm EST. Weekend/holiday coverage will occasionally be required. Requires an RN with unrestricted active license.Utilizes clinical skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program. Utilizes clinical experience and skills in a collaborative process to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate options to facilitate appropriate healthcare services/benefits for membersGathers clinical information and applies the appropriate clinical criteria/guideline, policy, procedure and clinical judgment to render determination/recommendation along the continuum of careCommunicates with providers and other parties to facilitate care/treatment Identifies members for referral opportunities to integrate with other products, services and/or programs Identifies opportunities to promote quality effectiveness of Healthcare Services and benefit utilizationConsults and lends expertise to other internal and external constituents in the coordination and administration of the utilization/benefit management function

Required Qualifications

-Ability to demonstrate and explain past experience delivering exemplary customer service for both internal and external customers required- 3+ years of clinical experience required- RN with current unrestricted state licensure required- Weekend/holiday coverage will occasionally be required-Requires 11:30am-8:00pm shift for at least first 12 months post completion of orientation period -Work in clinical telephone queue working with providers to secure additional information for prior authorization review
