What Is the Opportunity?
At Travelers, our enterprise operations teams deliver differentiating customer and agent experiences, drive top-line revenue and underwriting results, and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency across the enterprise. The Business Process Management (BPM) team is committed to managing and improving performance of E2E processes critical to business while continuously exploring opportunities to advance and mature process capabilities. As a Specialist in Business Process Management, you will provide support on ongoing initiatives that optimize end to end business processes for operational effectiveness and efficiency that will ultimately improve customer, employee, and agent experiences.
This is a Band 3 Position opportunity.
What Will You Do?
Provide support for the end-to-end operational components of a single and/or small initiatives which can include the scheduling, implementation, risk management, and maintenance.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for supported areas with a deep understanding of business operations and communicate knowledge to team members.
Document business procedures and process maps.
Attend stakeholder meetings and document notes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
2 years of specific property & casualty experience.
Ability to proactively manage time.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and present project information to management.
Strong attention to detail.
What is a Must Have?
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 1 year of experience in a property & casualty field in operations, project management or related field.
