Canadian Tire Customer Acquisition Student (4 months) - Fall 2024 in Oakville, Ontario

What You'll Do:

The Customer Acquisition team is focused on acquiring new credit card customers through multiple marketing channels (both in-store, digital marketing, paid media and owned/organic media). The Customer Acquisition Student will gain understanding of credit card marketing, how to leverage data in marketing campaigns, how to manage large data sets for reporting and trend analysis, how to build a sales funnel and how to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Setting up campaigns and working collaboratively with cross functional teams to do so

  • Competitive research and analysis to inform acquisition planning and strategy

  • Data analysis and insights related to in-store acquisition to inform sales strategies

  • Building out models and charts to identify trends and acquisition patterns.

  • Consumer Research to identify areas of opportunity in the consumer acquisition journey

  • Reviewing data and customer feedback to inform sales practices for our vendors

  • Review sales training materials and identify opportunities for additions, updates and improvements

  • Support digital acquisition expansion by assisting in the onboarding of new social platforms

  • Collaborate with team as required in executing tasks of assigned projects

    What You Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail, project management, and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present

  • Flexibility to prioritize and manage multiple projects and changing priorities
