Honeywell Sr Pricing Analyst in Northford, Connecticut
Senior Pricing Analyst will support key pricing projects across Price Setting, Getting and Netting activities for the FIRE AMERICAS Business. The successful candidate will work closely with marketing, sales, finance, and the senior management teams to systematically maximize business profitability by deploying pricing actions. This person will own the analytics/processes that underpin a successful pricing program while working closely with Global Pricing Leader/Other Pricing Leads within the business.
Essential Responsibilities
Partner with the Global Pricing Leader to devise price setting and executions strategies to meet business price targets and enable profitable business growth
Track and Analyze price performance of the business. Develop strategies and tactics from insights gained by conducting detailed analysis on transactional sales and Win/Loss opportunity data.
Engage with the GMs, Offering Managers, Sales and Marketing to develop and execute a pipeline of projects to support improved price realization, with a regular MOS to execute actions and measure the outcomes
Be responsible for developing and implementing the annual list price update process. Utilize analysis tools (such as Tableau) and executions tools (PROS, SAP) to deploy these updates.
Build training documentation, sales cookbooks by gathering good examples and best practices to support annual price updates. Partner with Marketing Communications to ensure proper customer communication
Conduct detailed discount trend analysis to support the regional pricing deal desk process. Utilize best practice deal desk templates to present your findings during the weekly reviews.
Partner with Deal Desk leaders to implement common deal desk tools and process. Be able to lead deal desk reviews when necessary.
Works with marketing leaders to ensure that enough market knowledge is present to support pricing excellence
Lead LOB monthly price reporting and identify performance trends/drivers. Provide improvement recommendations to achieve region price outcomes
Support with AOP planning and loading activities, and with indirect account payables
Publish daily business reports
Month end P&L deep dives, including but not limited to broker buy and PPV analysis
Qualifications
Min of 5-7 years of pricing, finance or product management experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Preferred
Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) certification from PPS
Proven data analysis experience and solid grasp of pricing models & techniques
Experience utilizing Tableau
Highly desire SAP, PROS Pricing experience
Industrial business Deal Desk experience
Understanding of the Fire business including fire systems and the fire market
Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision
Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
Master’s degree in Finance, Marketing or MBA
Ability to develop relationships and work closely with cross functional teams
Ability to proactively drive business improvements
