Position description

The Division of Community Oncology at Mayo Clinic is seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our practice. The selected physician will practice primarily in Northfield, MN with 20% of time (one day per week) in our Red Wing, MN practice. This practice is part of the growing Mayo Clinic Health System which works in close collaboration with Rochester based colleagues in Medical Oncology and Hematology. Both the Northfield and Red Wing practice have APP support within the department. Opportunities also exist for practice, research and/or teaching through partnership with Mayo Clinic Rochester Medical Oncology and Hematology.

The primary responsibility is to provide care and treatment for general hematology and oncology patients, with oversight of an infusion unit. The physician will see all disease-oriented groups. This is a full-time, outpatient position. There is currently not any night or weekend responsibilities.

License or certification

Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology and eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota.
