This role will support defining a dedicated Trade Operations team to support key negotiations, annual processes and define/execute new processes that drive value for CVS Health’s Pharmaceutical Contracting and Purchasing department.As a Senior Advisor of Trade Operations, you will assume a highly visible role on the Trade Operations team that drives strategic initiatives and operational execution in support of several cross-functional initiatives. As the pharmacy benefit landscape changes with new high-cost therapies, increasing pressure to reduce pharmacy costs and the evolving policy landscape, the right person for this role is a highly motivated, forward-thinker who can identify opportunities and sort out root causes of issues while leveraging matrix partners to develop and execute innovative strategies effectively and efficiently. Your strategic vision, critical thinking, and creativity will aid in your success. You will develop processes, project management status dashboards, and other tools to deliver actionable insights to Ops Leadership and the broader Trade organization. You will be responsible for working with cross-functional partners to manage identify areas of improvement across Trade and lead highly visible workstreams to optimize and build applications designed to streamline all areas of workflow. Key project leadership activities and workstreams include status tracking during annual processes, provide project leadership/management, and liaising with teams supporting reporting to deliver critical insights based on data and reports. Examples of responsibilities include:- Manage documentation of process maps, new guiding principles, options analyses as needed; consult on recommended tools to support process improvement initiatives - Provide additional project management support for key projects/initiatives in each LOB as needed - Support framing of decks/analyses for an executive-level audience, including managing working with cross-functional partners to identify any data needs- Manage weekly/monthly status reports with cross-functional input, including high-visibility manufacturer disputes, contract status, and other critical status checks across the department- Elicit business needs and formulate, propose, and refine process solutions (especially as driven by regulatory changes), to meet the business needs and to drive efficiency, operational improvements, and business valueTo be successful, you will utilize your ability to create and manage effective tools to drive efficient operations, as well as your experience coordinating across cross-functional teams with the ability to identify critical issues. **Will consider 100% remote from anywhere in the US. Required Qualifications

• 6-7 years of relevant work experience. • 5+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional projects within healthcare/PBM, account services, customer service, or related industry• Graduate level education may substitute for experience• Strong functional capabilities using Microsoft applications of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managed care which may include PBM, Pharma, market access, account management, specialty pharmacy, or health plan experience. • Experience using lean process tools and leading process improvement exercises • Exposure and/or knowledge of the evolving regulatory environment• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturers, manufacturing processes, or pharmacy in general


• Bachelor’s degree in finance, pharmacy, healthcare, business, or related field required• MBA, Master’s Degree, or PharmD preferred
