CVS Health Warehouse Electrician in North Smithfield, Rhode Island

Job Description

Starting at $30/Hr -$35/Hr + 5K Sign on Bonus!Full Time - 1st shift Monday-FridayResponsible for the general maintenance and repair of the facility and its systems. Responsibilities also entail knowledge in preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts appropriation, and inventory control.Industrial electricians perform some or all of the following duties:• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components• Install, examine, replace or repair circuit boards, sensors, relays, limit switches, flow switches, scanners, VFDs, and PLCs.• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, pneumatic and electrical control systems• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, conveyor, HVAC, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records• May install, maintain, adjust and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 20.00

Maximum: 20.00

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

Performs electrical wiring duties within the warehouse facilities, as well as the production/Rx machinery.Installs new electrical components and repairs and maintains existing industrial electrical and electronic components.Works according to company policy, the National Electric Code, and federal, state, and local building codes.Uses repair manuals, factory specifications, blueprints, schematics, and previous knowledge of electrical and electronic components to perform job duties.Uses a wide range of tools and instruments, including conduit benders, wire tracers, voltage indicators, and cable cutters.Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintenance/repair/preventative maintenance in the following areas: mobile material handling equipment; conveyor systems and associated equipment; and electrical systems and associated equipment.• Follow appropriate guidelines in the appropriation of all spare parts used in the repair of equipment.• Comply with the inventory control procedures in the reordering of spare used in the repair of equipment. • Assist in yearly inventory.• Housekeeping as required

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
