Job Description:

Cerner is growing and looking for a Senior Solution Design Analyst! As a Senior Solution Design Analyst, in our Revenue Cycle Development group, you will be responsible for assisting in the documentation of functional requirements and risk analysis using solution management tools and processes. Additional responsibilities include to develop skills to write clear and concise acceptance criteria; learn to act as the liaison between project stakeholders, developers and quality assurance; work on development projects of limited complexity with supervision; learn technical writing skills; participate in regular meetings to support development team; participate in review and approval process for new and change requests; and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and keep them informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of total combined higher education and related work experience

  • At least 1 year of Product design, product testing, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other HCIT solution work experience

  • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed

  • Must be willing to reside in or relocate to Kansas City, MO

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
