Cerner Event Manager in North Kansas City, Missouri
Cerner’s Corporate Meetings & Events organization is looking for a new Event Manager! As an Event Manager, you will be primarily responsible for event logistics supporting our internal associates. You will plan, manage and lead large scale event logistics and manage associate resources required to execute Cerner’s event and program strategies. You will coordinate events through multiple stages to successful completion and your responsibilities will include research and negotiations, contracting event venues, providing recommendations to internal partners, logistics coordination (hotel, transportation, catering, etc.), on-site support, creating financial plans and estimates and negotiating services on Cerner’s behalf. At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
At least 1 year of event planning and/or hospitality work experience
At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
