Novant Health Dimensions Physician Support Analyst in North Carolina
Job Summary
Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute a cybersecurity incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.
The Dimensions Physician Support Analyst is responsible for supporting Epic users interacting with the Dimensions application, in an acute care setting. The Dimensions Physician Support Analyst provides remote support via telephone and chat during application implementations as well as functionality upgrades to support end-users by remotely accessing their PC’s to provide step-by-step user education and/or trouble shooting. The analyst provides telephone and chat "triage" support distinguishing workflow questions, and break/fix issues, from optimization requests. Additional responsibilities include facilitating virtual Epic user personalization sessions on a one-on-one basis, facilitating Epic user personalization labs, and documenting Epic user requests involving changes to current workflows, or proposals of future workflows. Works with all levels of management in the acute care facilities as well as interacts with technical and training resources to deliver optimized Epic user support within the Dimensions application. Some of the applications that the Dimensions Physician Support Service Analyst helps so support within Epic include, but are not limited to Epic Acute Orders, Epic Clin Doc, Epic Optesia, Epic ASAP.

Qualifications
Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred. High School or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 2 year's experience with EPIC with bachelor's degree, OR minimum 5 years of EPIC experience in lieu of bachelor's degree. Strong understanding of the Physician/Surgeon workflows in Epic (including Optima/ ASAP/Stork/Anesthesia) required.
Licensure/Certification: Previously Credentialed or Certified in Epic preferred. Optime/ASAP/Stork/Anesthesia preferred.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
Strong understanding of the Epic user workflows in Epic Acute.
Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Communicate efficiently with technical team as well as managers and end users – both written and verbal. Skilled at problem solving.
Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
Strong organizational skills.
Possesses a strong customer service ethic.
Possesses an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirements.
Comfortable with the Zoom and Microsoft Office suite including, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
